Wood Carving

I have been carving off and on for a few years and have just started to take it serious through the study of anatomy and review of self training dvd's by Ian Norbury. I feel it will be a life time of learning...making mistakes and small victories. I find myself with little natural talent but lucky enough to be rather stubborn and dogged in my pursuits. I do have a geniune admiration and appreciation for the craft of wood carving. I do not know why when most people around me seem only to care about the score of the last yankee game.
